Pamalican Island, Palawan
The Amanpulo Resort has been named by APIDA as “The Best Beach Resort in the World” for 7 years in a row.
The main clubhouse in the Amanpulo Resort was designed to provide the resort guest with added convenience during their stay. The clubhouse facilities include the library, dining facilities, music rooms and bathhouses for the pool. The collective forms of a native village inspired the architecture where roofline creates a continuous undulating pattern that is a combination of both the beach and the mountains beyond the beach.
The pool is lined with dark tiles, which act as a pond visually as well as a pool in function. All elements from the architecture to landscape contribute to creating the peaceful setting that is Amanpulo.
