SULO RESTAURANT

Makati

For fifteen years, the Sulo Restaurant, located in the heart of Makati Commercial Center, served as a landmark of the area. First built in 1962, it was once again rebuilt in 1978 after it caught fire. Foreign and local tourists were treated to local regional cuisine which became synonymous with architectural identity of the place. It’s architecture was markedly Muslim inspired and its various function rooms influences from north to southern Philippines. The structure was brought down in 1985 to make way for the expansion of the Makati Commercial Center.
