(PNP Model)

This version of the affordable house combines two 30 square meter modules into a three-bedroom apartment unit. These units are situated around a central stair that acts as the only circulation area in the structure. This minimizes the need to construct access corridors further reducing the cost of the structure. The main circulation system also creates a defensible space enhancing the security aspect of the structure.

Each unit is made up of three bedrooms, two toilets and baths, a kitchen, living and dining areas. Each of these spaces are properly ventilated and allows for the maximum circulation of air. Window overhangs allow for proper protection from the sun further minimizing heat gain into the structure. The PNP model is an upgraded version of the Bayanihan model and allows for upgraded finished. Overall, the structure was designed to be a comfortable home for the members of the Philippine National Police but can be located in other areas that would require such structures.
