The JMT Corporate Condominium is located at
the heart of Ortigas Center, the new commercial and financial hub of Metro
Manila. Being the flagship project of progressive TDR Inc., its 24 storeys
and 4 basements employ state of the art technology. Despite making use
of only the latest building systems, traditional Filipino forms and hues
are still retained in its exterior.
The design philosophy behind this intelligent building is the fusion of tradition and technology. Examples of tried and tested building techniques employed in the design include sloped windows reminiscent of the bahay kubo to minimize heat and glare from the sun, and stilts at the base of the structure to allow natural lighting into the basement levels. |
