Capped by a large roof with wide overhangs, the interior spaces are protected from the sun and rain making the structure comfortable and pleasant to be in. The landscape has been carefully integrated with the structure to enhance the natural setting. Large plant boxes have also been included in the perimeter of the verandah blurring the edge between the man made structure and the natural environment. |

Situated in the hills of Antipolo, this structure sits overlooking a Metropolitan Manila. Designed as a vacation house, it elevated on stilts that allow for an expanded recreational space on the lower floor. Open on three sides, the main living area in a large verandah that accesses the view while allowing the circulation of air into the structure. On the apex of the roof is a second smaller roof that acts as a vent stack that allows the hot air within the structure to dissipate.
