DE LA SALLE - SANTIAGO ZOBEL SCHOOL

(Master Plan)

The master plan encompassed all classroom buildings, sports facilities, support structures, the auditorium, and all movement and user levels. The irregularly shaped lot prompted very strict spatial utilization in order to maximize the use of the area.

The preservation of the area’s natural characteristics, as well as the very trees growing on it, was paramount. The plan was also put forth an efficient system of common facilities usage by the different academic levels (ex.: grade school, high school) without sacrificing each one’s private spatial needs.

The creation of a unified environment for learning was the main objective. The plan also endeavored to give the school grounds a countryside atmosphere for relaxed and unhindered learning.
