BEACH SIDE CASITAS

Amanpulo Resort, Palawan

The beach side casitas in the resort are based on an extruded “Bahay Kubo”. The house is square in plan but diagonally split to form two rooms. The front room is the bedroom area and the rear portion is the bathroom/dressing room situated to insure the maximum amount of privacy.

Glass doors maintain a feeling of openness while giving the guests the option of air-conditioning while still allowing natural light to enter. Outside benches also allow the deck to be used at all times of the day to meet and converse with a larger group of people extending a living space beyond the bedroom.

There are a total of 40 casitas in the resort with an approximate area of 80 sq.m. Each is nestled amidst dense foliage ensuring the privacy of each one.
