This project included architecture, interior design, landscaping, and master planning design services which was produced by this firm. The process of design included dealing and coordinating with the different consultants including lighting and acoustic experts, management teams and kitchen design consultants. The Amanpulo promises to be the ultimate tropical experience and has won the Gallavanter’s award, as the “Best Resort Worldwide” for two years running. The resort has forty casitas, twenty nine of which are in the beach while the rest are elevated and interspersed amidst the islands vegetation. The casitas are modern versions of “Bahay Kubo” which combine pebble wash structures with wood shingle roofs. There is a wooden terrace to each pavilion that extends the living spaces to the outside. Each casitas are mode up of 2 main spaces that provide privacy and comfort. Included in the master plan of the resort are bars, airstrips, beach clubs, pools, tennis courts, children’s playgrounds plus extension back of the house facilities. |
